Naked Beach

Natasha worked with Barefaced TV, the producers of channel 4’s acclaimed show Naked Beach, to provide a body image lesson for teenagers. In particular, Natasha and the team recognised it was important to provide a quality resource which focussed on boy’s and men’s body image and didn’t restrict conversations around women’s confidence to body shape/size. These resources are for years 9-11 (13 to 16 years) and the video clips and lesson plans can be downloaded using this link.

Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid England is an organisation which trains the public in skills they need to support colleagues and friends with their mental health. These skills include being able to spot early symptoms of poor mental health, knowing how to respond appropriately if a person comes to you in crisis and understanding which self-help techniques are appropriate to recommend.

MHFA is originally an Australian initiative, created by Betty Kitchener and Professor Anthony Jorn at the Centre for Mental Health Research, University of Australia. It is an international organisation, currently delivered in 23 countries and has a robust evidence base.

Natasha is a qualified instructor for MHFA’s Youth Course (suitable for anyone who works with 8-18 year olds). Contact her direct to enquire regarding her availability.
